IWIPS 2006 invites submissions from masters, doctoral and post-doctoral students. Our theme for 2006 was "the role of design [research, education, and practice] in international product development."
IWIPS is an interdisciplinary forum of professionals from industry, academia and government working on issues related to globalization of products and systems. It is unique in that it appeals to a variety of delegates working in various areas of internationalization, supporting the effective transfer of information and technology. IWIPS provides a unique opportunity for students to meet, network and share knowledge with leaders from industry and academia in the field of internationalization of products and systems.
We encourage students to share the findings of their research into international product development with the conference. This could take the form of:
Papers should describe the problems addressed, lessons learned and the nature of the contribution (e.g., theory, method, tools, experience). Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
All submissions will be electronic. They may be be short papers (4-6 pages) or long (8-12 pages). They are to be sent following the Author Guidelines in .RTF format, zipped, as attachments to e-mail, to review-chair@iwips2006.org, with the subject line "IWIPS 2006 postgraduate Submission". Please indicate the length category of your paper.
